7 Weeks!

Time flies even faster when you have a newborn! We can't believe Sorren is 7 weeks old already. He's really starting to smile and interact when we play with him. He now weighs almost 9 pounds and is growing so fast. Enjoy the new pics!

Sorren is 2 weeks old!

We wanted to check in an let everyone know Sorren is doing well. He is a happy healthy growing boy and is now well over 6 pounds. The endless parade of appointments has passed and we are starting to develop a decent routine that basically looks like : Sorren eats, Sorren poops and pees, Sorren gets changed, we hold him and marvel at how fast we have fallen in love with him and then he sleeps again... with some crying mixed in there.

His little cheeks are starting to fill out and he appears to be getting more adorable by the minute... Trudy and I are getting rest, sometimes in shifts and both are enjoying our time with him and glad we are both home full time for a little while... we feel blessed to have the support of friends and family along the way. Trudys folks have been out a few times and my folks are coming out on the 20th from Jersey for a week to meet Sorren. He has had some visitors and seems to handle them well... we hope all of you get to meet him soon enough. Here are some new pics...

Welcome to the world Sorren !!!

On 9/28/09 at 10:09 pm Trudy delivered our son, a 5 pound 14 oz boy now named Sorren Brian Sharp !

Technically, he was delivered within 30 minutes of getting to the hospital and was 5 days early...

but came exactly when he was supposed to if you ask us. Sorren is like a gift from the gods...

We were in the hospital for 2 nights and got back home late this afternoon. Trudy was amazing and is feeling really good now. I am pretty exhausted and running on fumes but have never known such peace or joy... it all feels like a dream.

We wanted to share a few pics with all of you and thank each and every one of you for being a part of our family . Without the encouragement, love and support of our 'community' none of this is possible for us.

We hope you all get to meet Sorren soon enough.... until next time be well and send some 'good juju' out into the universe for someone you love.
