Evening Morning Sickness

It doesn't matter if it's in the morning, afternoon, or night, morning sickness has to be one of the worst ways for mother nature to torture a woman's body. I have to say I've been lucky and things could be SO much worse, but I'm hurting here people. I'm 12 1/2 weeks, have been nauseous since week 6 and throwing up since week 10. What gives? I thought I was supposed to be feeling better by week 10. Just when I thought I had dodged a bullet, instead of ending, the worse was just beginning. My doctor gave me a prescription for Zofran which has saved my sanity. There are few things more frustrating than not being able to eat or drink for fear it will come back to haunt you! So I'm raising my glass of ginger ale to modern medicine for providing some relief while I wait it out. Maybe week 14 will be my lucky break?

Oh honey I feel your pain. But just know that it won't last forever - just breathe through it and eat what sounds good to you. Some even say that it means your baby is really healthy because he/she is taking all of your nutrients (not sure if that's true). I was incredibly nauseous with both Sadie and Hannah, but my baby boy has yet to cause me any issues. Maybe you're having a girl!
