Aloha!

John and I spent Memorial Weekend in Sacramento celebrating my stepdad's 60th birthday! Happy Birthday! Thank God, it wasn't a 100 degrees. Even though I was in bed by 8, John got to hang out with family and friends to play some games. It was fun!!

Half Way There!

20 weeks this weekend and counting! We'll post more belly pics soon. The update is that I've been feeling "it" move for about 3 weeks now. At first, I couldn't figure out what the "tapping" was in my stomach. Since then I've gotten a few full on kicks, it's pretty cute! I had a checkup yesterday and was told that "it" sounded really healthy but I needed to gain weight! Usually this would be the most awesome thing anyone could ever say to me, but being pukey and having no appetite makes it quite the challenge, a challenge I'm willing to take on of course. So off to the store I went and straight for the ice cream and the full fat ground beef! I forgot how good fat could taste.

We will find out if it's a boy or a girl on June 8th!

Go Giants!

It's the only time of year that John will root for the Giants to win, and that is if it will give the Phillies an edge! We were lucky enough to go to SF for their series against the Mets on Saturday. Sadly, the Giants couldn't pull off a win but we got awesome "club seats" and had a good time anyway. Now I know how the "other half" live. We were close to the field, in the shade, had people who would take our food order, and had access to bathrooms, food, and drinks that no one else could get to! I was able to keep a cheeseburger down which was the highlight of my day!
