Trudy and I just got back from Yosemite Natl. Park the other day and wanted to share some photos from our trip. We got out to The Lodge in the Valley on Sunday afternoon and that night we got 8 inches of snow in The Valley and close to a foot and a half up in the mountains. I was able to ski two days and it was powder as far as the eye could see. We got some great weather that enabled us to enjoy some great leisurely walks around the Valley, take some photos, ice skate in the shadow of Half Dome with a full moon above and spend some time at The Awahnee Hotel - realxing by the giant fireplace on comfy couches... without a care in the world. .. it is one of those places that seems to get more beautiful and powerful every time I see it. Trudy and I are having a great winter, enjoying life in PG, hanging out with friends, trying to tire out Koda the dogbaby and keeping things pretty simple. We did have a few get togethers during the NFL playoffs and it was cool being able to pack lots of friends into our place... right up until my Eagles lost that is! I am getting stoked for baseball to start, both my Men's season and MLB are right around the corner now... Hope this finds all of you happy, healthy and hopefully holding your squeeze close on Valentine's Day... Peace - John

You always take the best pictures John! I've never been to Yosemite when it was snowing but it's on my to-do list. Glad you guys had a great time! That Ahwahnee Hotel is something else isn't it. Jeremy and I had breakfast there with some friends when we went to "Serenity in Yosemite" a couple years ago.
Awesome pictures John! I would love to get out there someday...maybe a family trip when the kids are a little older.
I really want to take them to Yellowstone as well - I loved it there!
